Here is the before shot of a 1938 Johnson LT-38 4.2 hp I'm currently restoring.

The rest of my motors are classics from the 1950's. This is my only antique.

Re: antique outboards

1964 is not considered an antique by club standards. Has to be older than 1950 to be an antique, but someday that might change. Anything that age is considered a classic. Here is my 1949 Evinrude 3.3

At some point, these will all be restored and running (diagnosed the issue with the 3 horse last night, but no funds to put towards it currently)

Re: antique outboards

nymarine.ca has some nice pics that I like to look at. Mine are all '50's motors except for one 2.5 hp. that I believe is about a '46 model or so. Here's a couple of other pics, too. I like to run the heck out of my motors, but like them to look decent, too. Starting to like the old, worn look, too.

I haven't got anything new for a while although I'm trying to find a powerhead for an FD-10. Here's one for the couger.
