Thinking of getting one, because it seems like a good deal, what with the color and being from a well-known manufacturer. The only thing that concerns me is the display only has 128x128 resolution, while other units like eagle's 320 has a 320x320 resolution. Any opinions?

The higher the pixel count (resolution) the more detail you can see.

Yeah i got that but, was wondering it anyone had any experience with 128x128 pixels specifically and if they thought it was sufficent or not. It would be really great if someone with a garmin 160c could chime in. I do most freshwater lake fishing, some pretty big lakes on ocassion, hows the refresh rate on the garmin?

Unless the screen is the size of a postage stamp, 128 x 128 would look like blocks on a screen. Reminds me of the score boards that use a square pattern of light bulbs to illuminate the numbers.
