man he was one of my favourite actors, they don't seem to make films or have actors like they used to! Think i'll stay in and watch one of his films tonight!

He was a racecar driver and owner who acted to support his racing career after making a racing film at about 45. He was very good at both.

He was also a great philanthropist. Gave millions to charities.

He was very sick for a long time. Probably glad to be out of the pain.

We need more like him.

I knew he had his food company but didn't realise that all profit went to charity, totalling 200 million!

I knew there'd be a post in here about this. Just heard the news on the radio, while my daughter and I were riding around. We had to do some groceries,so we picked up a few jars of his spaghetti sauce. I told here how all the profits go charity. I believe we'll watch Butch Cassidy and Sundance Kid tonight, one of my all time favorite movies.

I haven't purchased any Newman's Own products in awhile. I think I'll have pick up a few during my next run to the market, just to celebrate his lfe.

Paul Newman was a great actor, but more importantly, he was a great man.

Here's to you, Paul!

A great man that will be missed. His legend will live on in his movies though.

A great loss for sure. He was one of my favorite actors.
The movie "Cool Hand Luke" has to be one of the best made in my opinion...great performances by a lot of people in that show. (Academy awards went to either that show or some of the actors in it I think).
Regardless, he was great and it a loss. He lived a good life tho'.

Mr. Cool, my all time favorite male actor.

Fiercely private in all walks of life, there was only one place he let his guard down. The race track. There he was just one of the boys, well maybe not “just” one of the boys. It seemed he was at home, and at ease with the attention he received when you would see him in the pits.

A great man on the screen and on the track.

A man who gave his fame, name, and money for the good of mankind.

There is no one to replace him in my book, and to communicate my thoughts are difficult.

There is just no one to replace him.

“What we have here is a problem to communicate.”
