Good day!

I experienced an alarm in the throttle box, while on a long run at high speed. When I shut down and cooled the engine the alarm did not sound. I am able to make short runs at high speed. Has new impeller and thermostat. Oil tank is full on engine.

Any advice for this situation? I appriciate all the help.

Still sounds like an overheating problem. If you havent had that motor since new, you can't be sure if it was properly flushed, and they will build up salt and block the passages. Lots of times that problem won't show unless at wot.
Have you tried a salt away treatment?

Thankyou for the response.

I am not the origional owner. The motor is on a stratos bass boat. Do you feel a flush would still be in order? How is this accomplished?

I appriciate all you advice!

Best regards,
