2004 1850 Sportfish seats

Hello, I'm new to the forum and at the beginning of the year purchased 2004 Crestliner 1850 Sportfish. My problem is the seats I have are too high and even are at their lowest setting. The seats are telescopic and have suspension in them and I am curious if there is any way to modify them to make them lower. Right now my line of sight is level with the top of the windshield. Any suggestions ?

Is it possible to change the support from the telescoping kind to just the plain seat pedastal?

Yes I could do that but I would lose the suspension that works very nicely and the ability to raise the seat height when fishing on the platforms. There must be some kind of solution for this. Thanks for the reply
