Mercury prop question

Hello, my first post, I have a 2002 24' Sea Ray sundeck with a bravo III sterndrive with dual props. Last weekend I hit something and bent one of the props. The part number on the bent prop is 48-823663 22P and I have been unable to find out if this is a standard or cupped prop, Sea Ray says it probably is cupped, Mercury says it probably is standard but it should have an "L" or "A60" at the end of the part number to tell the difference (but it doesn't). Both say they shouldn't be mixed. I don't really want to buy both props to make sure.

Any advice/suggestions would be appreciated.

thanks in advance!

Re: Mercury prop question

Can it be fixed? Unless it's sheared off close to the hub it can be repaired.
If you need to buy a new one take it to a Mercruiser dealer and show them what you want.
Unless you can post pics it's real hard to guess what you have.
The difference between a cupped prop and straight is small. What's the number on the other prop? Jerry

Re: Mercury prop question

Thanks for the quick reply Jerry,
the number on the other prop is 48-823664, again on "L" or "A60" on the end. It can be repaired, just one blade bent, I'm just impatient to get back out on the water. The local repair shop said it would take a couple weeks.
