New to using electric trolling motors for primary drive. Have a Minn Kota 80lb 24 volt. Would like input on setup, I intend to install three deepcycle battries. Two for the motor and one for the electronic items. I also have a on board charger. Can I hard wire the whole setup and leave it in place without disconnecting anything? We have a plugin connection for the motor. I would like to just plug in the charger when not in use and plug in the motor when on the water.
