1963 5.5hp johnson carb issue

I have recently rebuilt the carb on my motor. The motor runs, but doesnt seem to be giving me all she has. When I push the choke in it kills the motor. Is there an adjustment that I am missing or do i need to take apart the carb again? Any ideas?
