So why bash Exxon?
fourth quarter earnings:
Exxon-Mobil up 14 percent
Chevron up 29 percent
ConocoPhillips up 37 percent jump
Royal Dutch Shell up 60 percent

So Exxon-Mobil is "the bad guy"?

Remember, the billion dollar amounts reported mean nothing without knowing the percentages.

The media spin likes to make Exxon-Mobil, look "extra evil", by thowing out that hug $$ figure. The facts don't matter that much.
