Ok, so here it goes... first one to get it right gets a kudos, and you should all know this one.
A boat has a ladder with 5 rungs on it, each spaced exactly 1 foot apart and each rung is exactly 1 inch high. The lowest rung is 2" above the water. The tide is rising at an even rate of 12" every 15 minutes and high-tide will be in one hour. How many rungs of the ladder will be underwater at high-tide?
