Do you have the weight of the Glassmaster?
That would help some.

I have used 27, 50 and 55lb bow mounts on a 17' Boston Whaler. I think 50 is enough.

the boat in the picture? 36 is not enough (well, maybe on calm days) - 50 would be good. no such thing as "too much", but much more than 50 will require 2 batteries.

For a bow mount there can be too much. . . weight on the bow.

I had to change props when I had the 55 on the Whaler.

to be totally honest you will not be happy with a stern mount on that boat. nearly impossible to control the boat.
