Hey Musky I am one of those city people that come to your town every weekend. My cabin is technically in webster but closer to siren.. Its only two hours away. If you don't want the city folk then move over three hours. You're lucky you get mpls people. Most other parts of WI get Chicago people.

Hey, so yeah, just givin a shout out to all the fellow northlanders
I've seen quite a few of you on here. I assume that you all appreciate how good we have it here with our bountiful aquatic resources.
I feel bad for the poor SOB's down in the desert.

Lets here it for 10,000 lakes!!

I'm from SW MN.I recently joined. Not to many lakes out here on the prairies but, there is a few. I just got my first boat and am looking forward to learning them all.

Looks like with this cold snap we should be ready for some hard water fishing any day now, hehe.
You guys got your gear ready yet? Augers tuned up, tip-ups restrung?
Wont be long now, till we're haulin' huge pike on suckers!
Oh and I almost forgot its ski season too!!

Got a new battery for the LX5 and mixed amsoil Saber for the auger. Might try going out with the spud bar and a hand auger during the snow tomorrow. First permanant house has been spotted on South Center lake in the Chisago area. Heard a lot of Forest lake has about three inches of ice which is enough to walk on. Man I love this time of year.
