OK....removed the blockage..............must have been casting material(?)

Now for the next problem..........when I install the elbow it is hitting the other pipe plug.........called GLM again...........seemed like this is NOT an uncommon problem.........I will have to grind it down.

Not too impressed with GLM...........

A guy just posted on the Bayliner forum this experience:

I got mine from Moore's performance also. I bought the aluminum version for my 5.0 mercruiser and shed off 75 pounds! A word of the wise though; These are Chinese made; after you receive them carefully check the castings for flaws inside and out. Use a folding mirror and flashlight if you have to. I had a restricted exhaust port on one of mine and had to exchange it. I never would have known if I hadn't carefully looked. Dennis gladly exchanged it and payed for shipping also. Good businessman.

You might want examine closely with light and mirrors, if you haven't already.
