Any Idea What this is?

I was given this boat w/o title. There is no data plate on the transom. I think the engine is a 1971 Chrysler 55 hp(557 hc). Any help would be greatly appreciated![I

A slim chance it is a DUO or Chrysler It seems Duo and Chrysler were involved
and Chrysler bought Duo and made it Chrysler boats.Just a stab in the dark.

Cant help with the boat but 557HC is 1971 like you said

Thanks for the replies. The throttle handle says Chrysler on it, and the start switch plate says McCulloch. I assume the original engine was McCulloch. I wonder if it is a Chrysler runabout utility. I saw these mentioned in the iboats boat search.

Check with fiberglassics.com for more info on Chrysler boats. That really is a cool looking boat. Worth a grand or two to get it all cleaned up and running again. Just can't buy that style new anymore...
