When you get the carbs apart be sure that you blow out all of the passages with high pressure compressed air - - no rattle cans.

Hey thanks, I might do that today just to do it. I noticed that after running today there is more white milky stuff in the bottom of my fuel filter?? I wonder where that is coming from? Sgould I leave the vent for my tank open or closed when storing? What about when using the boat?

The white milky stuff is the result of water being present. Plants and animals like water - engines don't.

I would leave the vent open except when transporting if you have a portable tank. My boat has a built in tank so the vent is always open.
