There has to be some difference or they would have kept the part number the same.

If they have the same combustion chamber volume, deck height, and valve size then it shouldn't be a problem, mechanically...
I do not know if it will bolt up.

Try Fair Winds Marina in Pasadena, MD. They will know the answer and also might have a head you need.

If you go to the BRP parts site, choose "advanced" at the "search" window and enter the part numbers, you will find the years and models that the two pairs were used.

Since 326502 & 326503 and 326504 & 326505 were both used on 115HP models in 1985, I think that it is highly unlikely that there is a difference.

If you want more insurance, I have an unused matched set; 326504 & 326505.

You should try to keep the heads the same. The squish band and swirl patterns are different.

Can you mix & match? I wouldn't but there are plenty of motors like that out there. If it were mine I'd run a 502 & 503 or a 504 & 505 set.

Check with Twin City Outboards. They are a marine salvage firm and have a mountain of "seasoned" outboards and parts.
