jethros,

Thanks for this great info. The Winner pictured in the ad is almost a dead ringer for my boat, except I have the full transom model mentioned in the specs. Great to see what the market thought of the Winner way back in 89!

Awesome. Thanks for the great info. I have an 88 2280 Sport Cuddy w/ 250 o/b on a bracket. The boat is very sturdy and fishable. I have rewired it and completely gone through it since buying it for the original owner in 1997.

This is great info. I have a 93 2480 Brougham I have restored and repowered in 2001. Very similar to the 2280 from the literature. Wondering if anyone has anything else on the 2480.

I have a 1987 Winner 1850cc. It looks like the info above says it came standard with a 42 gallon tank. Can anyone confirm this for sure? I have ahd the boat for 2 weeks and have yet to run it down enough to tell when I fill it up.

Re: For owners of Winner 2280, 2250, 1850 boats

Hello everyone. We purchased our 1988 2280 Sport Cuddy I/O about a year ago. We had some hull work done back in May. I am going to try and redo the upholstery myself to save some money. The padded rail around the back is where the material is cracked so while doing that I hope to redo all in the boat to match. Hopefully in blue to match with the soft top. My problem is water leeking back in through one of the flush out floor drains(port side). I put new ball stopper type transom drains on. Starboard work great but port not. Any ideas? Replace the first one as thought it was maybe a bad one. Resiliconed everything with a new one and same problem. Also I hope to put on by next spring some trim-tabs to help it plane out quicker/better. Plus level the boat out side to side depending on the load on-board. I have the 5 L I/O and Alpha-1 with a 8 HP Yamaha 4-stk kicker and Walker Downriggers. Any tips on maintenance upgrades done etc are very welcome.IMG_1089.jpg
