And here are the finished pics, It still needs a few detail things including a radio and speakers. Took it out yesterday and the boat runs out good. The 4.3 Merc ran like a top. As you can see we completly rebuilt the interior including the floor. A started soliniod and 1 trim soliniod. Other than that is was just cleaning and TLC. Enjoy. Let us know what you think

Looks great. Nice job. Couldn't tell from your post, was this a freebie, or did you pay for it? Either way, looks good now, have fun with it.

Where did you get the new seats at? Or did you just recover them? If so, how? Im looking at getting a boat that either needs new seats or just needs them dyed a new color.

Nice boat. The color matching flip-flops are a nice touch.

Nice job. the fiberglass and gel coat seem to be in good shape for a boat that was outside for 10 years.

I'm looking to do a similar project on a boat soon. Your project is nothing less than inspirational.

You have to re-cover the bow seats and use plywood for backing(cut new pieces) its real easy too.

Thanks For al the good comments fellas. My Uncle and Grandmother built the seats from scratch. We used the rear seat bottom, Everything else was too rotten. We also reused the frame and most of the cusion from the 2 captian seats. We got our upolsty from a local facric shop and the carpet from a local carpet shot. Everything else was just man hours working. The boat is in very goo shape(hull wise) the be sitting out for 10 years. Like I said, its still needs a few minor details but there is no complaining how well togather the boat went. Thanks again fellas

Looks like I need to drop my boat off since I'm so close... LOL...

How did you replace the floor so fast? Are you gutting it completely or just cutting out bad sections?

HOW???????

My boat is not far from yours (or how yours was) and needs some quick TLC

Ha, This makes 2 boats we have redone in 1 month, We are going to actually enjoy them the rest of the summer.
As for the floor, The second day we had it we took all the interior(exept the dash, helm, ect. and ripped the old floor up best we could, We then cut what was left of the old floor about 4 inches from the sides,Not to cut into the side of the hull from the inside, We done a little patch work on this one as far as floor structure but for most part it was in good shape, gave is one major cleaning and Then cut the basic shape of the floor(used 2 diffrent pieces on this one) and trimmed hera nd there untill we got it like we wanted it, The rest was just laying carpet. As for the rest of the interior we built it from scratch. Got the vinyl at a local fabric shop and sweet talked my talented Grandmother to do the sewing for us. After that it was just installing it all and hitting the water. Like I said before we are mostly new to boats and we have learned a lot from these last 2
