Newby - 93 phantom question

Hi all, just purchased a 93 phantom v175 with a volvo stern drive. Sales guy said it was a 175 hp but I did not/ do not believe this. It's a volvo 4 cyl B230 block (I think). Anyone know the correct hp for this. I'm thinking 135 but not sure.

According to NADA, your boat came with a 115 hp stern drive. The link is below. You'll need to copy and paste.

Welcome Cornear. I would highly suspect you are correct. You mention this is a 4cyl, which I suspect means the 3L. The 175hp would be for the 4.3.

Big difference in hp. You may want to to take it up wit the sales manager at the place where you bought it.

thanks for the responses, not sure that I'll do anything about with the dealer. I pretty much knew going in that it shouldn't/couldn't be 175 hp. In fact, I think I'm a little happy with it being lower HP, should do all I need it too and maybe a little more economical.
