What else could be wrong???

I am still having the WOT problem on my 25hp Mariner. It runs great until it reaches top end then starves for fuel. If I continually pump the bulb it runs great. I have changed the bulb, hose, both connections, fuel pump, and tried a different tank. I have one more tank to try soon. Any thoughts on what would be my next move. Thanks

Is the tank vent open when you're running?
Make sure that the fuel lines are air tight.

Did you rebuild the carb? Is the gasket between the carb and block new? Are all gas connections air tight? How about the fuel filter? Is it facing the right way and connections tight?

Sound like you're short on fuel flow, since pumping helps. Are you sucking air through supply line? Is the tank vented and vent line clear? Fuel supply line big enough, no kinks? Is there a fuel filter that may be clogged?
Don't forget to Post the outcome, when your problem is solved.

It's not getting gas, either because the flow is restricted, the pump isn't pumping, or it's sucking air. If you get a little creative with a pressure gauge and/or a short piece of clear vinyl line, it shouldn't be too hard to find.

Fix it soon, starving a 2 cycle engine usually harms it in a big way.
