Hi i recently inherited a 5 hp sea king and would like to know where do i get a gas tank for it also what year and is it reliable? it looks to be a round similar to an air fitting looks to be 1/4 inch to 3/8 dia . model no.k5003106a type no6052205r serial no970551 spark plug (in It champion rj12yc) looks pretty clean but no fuel tank

It was made by Clinton 1972-76. You might have to substitute a different fitting, but it sounds like a fitting used by Chrysler. Immediately above your name you will see pertinent links. iboats prices are among the lowest you'll find. A 3-gallon tank will be more than adequate. I advise using Stabil in the gas all the time because the motor is so stingy on gas, it often goes bad before you get a chance to use it all up. Use chainsaw oil rather than outboard oil because the powerhead is air cooled.
