jack plate

what is the purpose of a jack plate, do you need one .the reason im asking im thinking about the cmc trim unit, well it sets your motor back another 6 in and i dont think my steering cable will be long enough if the jack plate on there

finally gave up, eh?

why don't you just send me the dead carcass of your old system. I'll make it work like new for less than cost of aftermarket. Being a dual ram system it will work better anyway.

no i have'nt gave up yet , but im just looking in to other ways just in case , i got every thing back to gether and it works good , but havnt tried it in the water wet. but ill keep you in mind if it dont work right ,
