The recent events took place btw 9h30am and 4pm

Almost had me boat in me drive today...
Dealer said 9h30am...Luckely for me it's a 5min drive from my place.

The boat was ready at 3pm minus a few options ; bimini top , camper cover , docking lights and binding cables.
They told me to bring her back during the week to complete the jobe. At this point I did not give a dam , I just wanted to dock her and get her wet.
Except for a major detail , THE TRIM SWITCH WAS NOT WORKING !

The boat never left the dealer...

I have close to niet experience around boats but I make my living in aeronautics so I make DAM sure all systems are functional before operating them. Other then that , this bowrider was simply breath taking.

But what baffled me today was the finding of a turtle in my backyard on my way back home. Considering this an omen we decided to name it after are Dealer...

Something to be said about taking what the dealer has available. I have always been leery of special orders because I was afraid that when it came there would be some sort of damage or other thing not as I anticipated. Then there is the delivery as you are mentioning.

On the lot it's there, ready for purchase and what you see is what you get. Sign the check, a little preppin and away you go.

For anyone else buying a boat in the area.

I bought my boat at the same dealer. The thing is they do have the best prices in a 10 hour drive radius. I called everywhere. I saw couple of 2 year old boat same thing as me asking for the same price I got it new. This means the owners definitely paid more originally.

My boat was actually in they're possession when I bough it. It took them 2 months to install trim tabs and a camper. But I would do it again to save the money. Just buy it after the summer like I did and you'll gain allot more patience.
