How far out can you trim the Aluminum prop before it starts to vent?
Is there a Merc dealer near you that has the demo prop program? that way you would be able to test before you choose the pitch/ I never compared my Enertia to the original Aluminum, but it is 1" less pitch than the original prop. Great prop for elevated engines, but still works pretty good submerged. I changed the vent plugs from the factory solids to the medium sized holes.
