Hi, need a manual for my mercruiser 4.3 and wondered which one you guys think would be the best,either seloc or clymer?

Hi Zapcat and welcome to Iboats. You can take your pick. One is as good as the other. You will not likely get a recomendation on either on this board. The experienced Mechanics and DIY's will likely recommend on OEM Factory Service Manuals.

You may want to get Serial Number or Model Number ready, it may be asked for before too long.

are the oem manuals more detailed than the other two then?

yep......oem is the way to go...other manuals are full of poor or wrong information.....an oem manual is more expensive, but well worth the price....can be bought at your local marina or online
