Please remember it's just humor.

Are you a Liberal, a Conservative, or Texan?

Here is a little test that will help you decide.

The answer can be found by posing the following question:

You're walking down a deserted street with your wife

and two small children.

Suddenly, an Islamic Terrorist with a huge knife

comes around the corner, locks eyes with you,

screams obscenities, praises Allah, raises the

knife, and charges at you. You are carrying a Glock

cal 40, and you are an expert shot. You have mere

seconds before he reaches you and your family. What

do you do?

.

THINK CAREFULLY AND THEN SCROLL DOWN

Liberal Answer:

Well, that's not enough information to answer the question!

Does the man look poor or oppressed?

Have I ever done anything to him that would inspire

him to attack?

Could we run away?

What does my wife think?

What about the kids?

Could I possibly swing the gun like a club and knock

the knife out of his hand?

What does the law say

about this situation?

Does the Glock have appropriate safety built into it?

Why am I carrying a loaded gun anyway, and what kind

of message does this send to society and to my children?

Is it possible he'd be happy with just killing me?

Does he definitely want to kill me, or would he be

content just to wound me?

If I were to grab his knees and hold on, could my

family get away while he was stabbing me?

Should I call 9-1-1?

Why is this street so deserted?

We need to raise taxes, have paint and weed day and

make this happier, healthier street that would

discourage such behavior.

This is all so confusing! I need to debate this with

some friends for few days and try to come to a consensus.

I just can't see a Texan carrying a .40. They're more .45 types.8)

The US Gov't did some things right. It fostered the development of the .45 ACP in the 1911-A1. Not to mention the .50 machine gun round-the world standard for a "OMG" weapon.

The .45 is not particularly accurate but it STOPS whatever is coming at you. My weapon to carry and for home protection.

The .50 is DEADLY accurate and stops, not to mention destroys, the vehicle you're in.

Gotta love that American inginuity.

I counted nine shots out of that.40.

With a .45, you only need one. We have seven (with one in the chamber). Just "racking it" intills fear in the the 'less moral', among us.

Very good points DJ! My favorite for packin' (which I seldom do: but I have the permit if I feel the need), is my Ruger KP89 9mm, (stainless). It is a pea shooter compared to the .45 ACP but it does not have much (if any) muzzel flash, and almost zero kick. The pre Clinton, (n' legal as I can prove I bought it prior to the forced change to the 10 round clip), clip holds 17 with one in the chamber, (have a bunch of 'em). I also have a couple of 30 round clips too, which stick out of the butt an inch or so! In addition to zero kick n' lots of fire power, the bullets don't go thru walls and the piece is fairly compact for all that it offers. The acuracy is decent, (a little better then a .45). If I actually have to stop somthing or need to pound some nails at a distance it is hard to beat the simplicity of my SW trooper special .357 Mag. Lots o' snot! 'Course if I'm up in Cordova out walkin' in the woods, I pack my .44 mag, (you need at least a .42 mag to deal with a Big Brown if he or she decides your number is up). Don't ever think ya can outrun a big Brown Bear! The .44 pounds nails like the .357 n' there is nothin' like a simple revolver when ya get right down to the bottom line. My $.02. Respectfully, JR
