Do you have any better reasons why American kids are so dumb, Haut? And do not deny that they aren't. They are probably, on the whole, the most ignorant children in the western world. And that is after you libs have thrown billions of dollars trying to bolster their self esteem.

After 6 years of conservative rule, I find it fascinating that all the conservatives seem obsessed with the notion that they are the hapless victims of liberals!

If a party out of power could yield so much power, that's impressive.

And after 6 years of control, you'd think the conservatives would have something to show us how wonderful they are, as opposed to just telling us how wonderful they are.

After 7 years, the dow is up 12 % or so. (From peak to peak. That's an average of less than 2% per year. Whoop-de-do!

That's better than being down, as it was for most of this administration, but with the favorable treatment of big business in this time frame, , and the huge deficits run up , you have to be pretty amazing at spin to consider this a ringing endorsement of one idealogy over another

PW, check the trend going into the Bush Administration. What was the trend? It was downward significantly by your evaluation of a measley 12% in 7 years.

I won't bother to bring up 9/11 or Katrina, as I know you know about those but are choosing to ignore.

So President Bush took over a sliding economy, dealt with a cowardly muslim extrememist attack, a hurricane that completely devestated the gulf coast states, and you are dissatisfied with 12%. New highs reached everyday almost and you are dissatisfied. Incredible.

Homework, try and figure out on the chart where the tax CUTS were implemented.
