Kiddy competition! :'(
I bought my scroll saw for one purpose. To cut pre-made square blocks with a hole in the center that go around pre-existing pipes on the out side of the house before putting the siding on.
I made the mistake of picking up a scroll saw puzzle book for me and my fishing partner.
We just thought it was cool to look at. And MAYBE someday (years) away in our old age we might actually try one of them.
We werent expecting the kid thing. :%
His oldest granddaughter saw the book.
His fault because books like this should be locked away in the gun safe!
Or at least have a finger lock on them.
His granddaughter asked if she could make one for her teacher.
An apple as I did was ok. But this is Major Suck UP
11 year old kid! And a Girlie at that!
Well she did with a lot of help.
Then another one, for an Aunt for Christmas.
Now this one for Grand-maw!
They have all three turned out really nice.
From our conversation on this one, she did about 90% of the work.
Picking the wood, stain, cutting and sanding.
Remember this is an 11 year girl that until two months had never tried this.
