I remember when the supreme court selected Bush as president and all the conservatives and pleaded for our country to come together, get over it and sing kumbaya.

Soooo to all you right wingers, take your own advice and start singing and get over it.d:)

You lose all credibilty with me with those types of statements.

If you look at the White house, Bush has already begun the first verse. Lets just hope the democrats dont get all stupid.

Do you dispute my facts Monica? Waiting for your response to them other than selected not elected. Or are the facts in your way again?

Hey Ken,

Not asking for bunch of research or anything thing, but can you attach a name of any prominent Democrat or liberal leader to them "feelings".

All I can say is if Al Gore had won the election in 2002, we likely wouldn't be in the mess we are today. Pelosi stumbled but otherwise give her a chance! She couldn't screw things up any worse than her predecessor.

Eric,

Sorry to take so long at getting back to you. I appear to have several of your righties panties in a bunch. Maybe we can start a number system.

Help me out here Eric, throw me a bone, I really didn't see any facts in anything you wrote. Sooo, maybe you can tell me what your trying to pass off as facts?

Well if you don't like the word "facts" and are going to be so petty about it, dispute what I wrote.

OK, Jim or Monica, this is where you get me cranked up again. I suppose that the Constitution that created the Electoral College is meaningless to you. OK. And I suppose the Supreme Court is too? Give me a flippin' break. Talk about cryin' in your beer. OMG!!

Please, Algore would have a hard time just figuring out what his opinion was, let alone Governing this Nation, try to get a grip.

Nancy is to caught up in who she hates and who she would like to hate... with her it's all personal, not pragmatic

Hey Monica, you need to get off the "stick" and address some of the issues you have been called on.... or are you the typical Lib... all mouth and no substance.

lol QC,

Your going to lecture me about the Constitution? After conservatives like yourself have sat back idly for the last six years and watched the Constitution get shredded?
Electoral College? 4 or 5 of the nations largest newspapers sent teams down to Florida to finally count the votes. Because as you remember QC, the votes never were counted, the Supreme Court stopped the counting, and no matter how you conduct the count, hanging chads, dimpled chads, pimple, frimpled or whatever, Gore won. So you give me a break and go cry in your umbrella drink or whatever you drink.

I don't think it's a matter of "if", but a matter of "when". If hope has to be involved, let's hope they get stupid sooner than later, because that'll pretty much shut 'em down until the electorate gets over their bout with stupid. And get over it, they will, sooner or later.

Custom,

The Swiftboat liars were proven to be frauds. The funniest liar was the guy who got a purple heart in the same battle that Kerry did while he was running around claiming there was know enemy fire. When this was pointed out to him, he stumbled and fumbled and then finally he said "if the navy wanted his purple heart back, the could have it".
Go to the link below or just google "swiftboat liars" and you'll find all kinds of interesting info.

I guess that you conveniently forgot about the absentee military votes that were never counted, huh jm.

Give me a freaking break, the only other votes that were not counted in Florida were the ones invalidly filled out by the stupid voters that the Democratic party has spawned over the last 50 years. As you might not like to recall, they were the invalid ballots that your socialist party could not interperet in the manner that they wanted to. They were the same kind of invalid ballots that have been cast aside in every other election thru out history.

Might I add, they were votes that were invalidly cast, using a system that was widely accepted to have been engineered by Democrat led Counties.

Almost EVERY single independent and liberal newspaper's ludicrous recounts cast the win for Bush. Again, post one legitimate count that went Gore's way. The funny thing is, I don't care about whitewashing anything, but the facts are, the vote in Florida was fairly won. Aaaaannndd, the Constitutionally legitimate Supreme Court confirmed that the count was legitimate and lawful. What more proof do you want? Unless, uhh, maybe you believe the Supreme Court of then (and obviously now too) was/is illegitimate . . . You see harmonica, you cannot have it both ways with me. You cannot claim to be a supporter/protector of our Constitution AND claim that those things it creates are illegitimate . . . Get it?

Here the thing Custom,

Time for a little common sense. Whats the crew of a swift boat? Eight or so. To have 250 people sign statements stating that Kerry didn't deserve his medals is bit fishy. That must have been one crowed river down there in Nam. Only one person who was actually on a boat with Kerry sided with the Swiftboat Liars and he was a guy that held a grudge because Kerry had to disciplined pretty hard in the past. Something our "drive by media" didn't report on too widely.

Common sense? Watch the cuts again... you are trying to tell me these guys are lying... all of them, all 52 in his chain of command, on film, in their own words... all of them, together

I have a bridge right out side of San Francisco, painted every year or so and you can charge tolls for every car. Just send me(certified check only) $1,000.00 and it's yours!!!! you too can be a tax collector, and every car will pay you a dollar!!! (certified check only)

What a maroon.

Feeling - Logging kills spotted owls; fact - other bigger owls kill spotted owls

Feeling - disposing of ships and oil rigs offshore pollutes; fact - they make great fishing reefs

Other examples:

Feeling - all terrorists are in Afganistan; fact - terrorists themselves claim the line in the sand is in Iraq>

Quote off>

Hmm. let's see. Do you have any scientific evidence that larger owls are the ones killing spotted owls? Any facts whatsoever to back that statement up?

Do you have any evidence suggesting that is a "liberal" position that fishing reefs are harmful?

The fundamental difference between a liberal and a right winger is that a liberal needs to collect and analyze the data before reaching a conclusion.
The right winger starts with the conclusion, and collects or invents only the data that supports that conclusion.

With all the bickering going on in this thread, the above has to be the single biggest piece of partisan B.S. here.
Wake up. Both parties in Washington have elements that want us to fight with each other. It keeps them in their cushy jobs.

I love when it a righty calls me a name. Its like a football team being down 3tds with 2 minutes left and they take a cheap shot at the QB. Or, in baseball being down ten in the ninth and the pitcher throws for the head. Sounds like your running out of ammo Custom.

BTW, who's the maroon? Your the one that keeps asking me if I think the Swiftboaters are liars. Haven't you been reading my post? When I refer to them as "the Swiftboat Liars", when I refer you to swiftboatliars.com, yes, I am saying they're liars. Duuuuhhh!
