The events surrounding any action resulting in a nomination for our highest award for valor must be investigated in detail before the nomination moves forward.

This hearsay report certainly sounds like an investigation is in order, but too much detail is missing to shoot from the hip.

I've had the privilege of knowing a number of the "teams" and it has never ceased to amaze me of how blasé they are about their trade. (And how much fun they are to party with)

If this story is true, Michael A. Monsoor did nothing special... just another day in the Teams, and yes, like all of the teams, he should be a medal winner.
