YES---I admit I got lazy after the last snow and wound up with a lot of ice on the asphalt and was wondering what y'all felt was the cleanest to use.<br /><br /><br />Thanks in advance.

Calcium chloride works below zero - pretty hot stuff so if you have pets keep them off it. Salt works only if it's warm enough outside.

Ammonium nitrate works wonders if you can get it. Works better than calcium/sodium salts and won't damage the grass as much either.

Sprinkling a bag of sand on it will make it drivable and walkable.
