88 Force 125 No.3 not firing

1988 Force 125 c model.No 3 not firing.checked out by swapping CD Box to No.1 and it went dead<br />and No. 3 started firing.Coil Right?></NOT???<br />Installed NEW COIL still not firing,but checked wiring in manual and No.1&2 fire out of front CD<br />BOX AND 3&4 OUT OF REAR BOX. Mine is not wired up that way.Is CD BOX Bad or is it wired wrong,<br />or Stator or Trigger Bad.Coil only cost $ 36.00<br />but do not want to keep floating money down river.<br />NEED ANY INFO A.S.A.P.<br />Randy.....

you say u switched the ignition module and it switched from 3 to 1? sounds like half the cdi is bad.

Yes, i switched the no.1 coil to the cd box hooked<br />to no.3 and it did not fire,i am thinking the cd<br />box is bad,blocking diode on one side.<br /><br />Any more info would be great......<br /><br />Randy.....
