I was out on the boat the other day and it was running fine until I throttled up. It was fine for a few minutes then bogged down. It repeated the same symtoms over and over as I throttled up and down, and at low throttle it was great. I did notice the bulb on the fuel line was soft and as soon as I started squeezing it the boat took off fine. When I stopped so did the motor, any suggestions on where to start.

MIKEYM1969,
I'm no pro and still learning, however, have you tried replacing the fuel line from the outboard to your fuel/water separator and also looking at the fuel filters on the carbs? I just replaced the fuel/water separator and the primer bulb on my old Force 125 as it wasn't getting hard either and now the new one does get hard no problem.

Just giving some ideas.
Tim

Usually if you pump the bulb and the motor picks up, it is an indication that the fuel pump diaphram needs to be replaced.

Shane
