13.25 x 17 on mine. Good hole shot and 5600 WOT on my 18'er. I get low 30's with a cabin and canvas enclosure with just me on board.

I think this is probably the most common size/pitch for these engines. I love the engine, it's very reliable...

  • Finally found some time to get the stand built i think i will put another 2x8 on it where motor bolts go though as i noticed this motor dosent hang it fastenens with bolts so there will be lots of twisting force on it. All this is scrap wood from work.......

that is the engine alarm..... for over heat and or low oil..... it goes with the motor and controls...it didn't come with the boat initially probably...(unless the boat came with the motor as a package...

some of those loose ends are duplicate...

Quick update. The thermostat arrived in the mail so I installed it and tested the motor again. This time gas started leaking from a gasket on top of the carb. I straightened it out and re-torqued the screws to get it to stop. The engine now works...

I agree with the above and add nothing good can come to the health of an aluminum boat being full of saltwater all the time especially since you can't ever rinse it out of the inner hull....

IIRC - HIN's did not come into existence until 1972 . . . so maybe Indiana issued a state HIN during a prior transaction. If the boat has a sticker with this HIN, and no other, then it is probably legit, as long as the paperwork is in order to back it...

Going with different sun deck on Glastron

My Glastron GX 205 has the three separate sun deck cushions. So this winter I was thinking about going with one solid cushion for the sun deck instead of the 3 separate cushions. Has anyone ever done something like this? Are there any concerns I should...

GA_Boater, thanks. The current Hydra-Sports owners say their books only go back to 1998. (The company was in the hands of three previous owners.) Doesn't looks like there's a chance to follow that back. Hoping someone who owned one of these boats...

replied to Sanger 1990 DX vs. 94 DLX
The hulls are very similar but the dlx might be a few inches longer. I am not sure, however. Sanger generally does not make small changes to the hulls and I'm pretty sure that the DXII, the DLX, and the V210 are all the same hull. You can email Sanger...

I've read every post in the Tahoe boat forum on the trolling motor mount plate for the Q-series Ski and Fish boats. Current Tahoe's have a different mounting system

Sweet little Jup you got there, it should be a fun project! You can always have a mod change the title of your thread here and keep it going with the resto work.
