getting a lot of water in the bilge on my 1984 wellcraft. I have pretty much eliminated everything EXCEPT the scuppers.....and it does collect more water when I am loaded down in the stern. (boat has been converted from I/O to bracketed outboard, so it sits slightly stern heavy anyway).
I am thinking that there must be a hose connecting the scupper on deck to the thru-hull fitting.....problem is, I cannot see it. Maybe one is cracked.....and when the thru hull dips under water, it lets water in.....running into the bilge. In order to gain access to this area, I have to take ALOT of stuff apart......which I will be doing soon.....but as always, its nice to know a little bit about what you expect to find.
Anybody else had this issue? Can anyone confirm if there is a hose connection?
