I have a brand new (to me) 1982 Thundercraft that has "SS" on the side of it. What i dont know is what is the full model is. Can someone tell me or point me in the correct direction?

I have the same exact boat color and all the SS from what i have been told stands for super sport the model should be on the tag on the left front as you walk through the the to the front of the boat. It has the amount of passangers and max weight. If you can't find it I can share my model with you. My boat is the twin of yours. But I my case of the SS on my boat it stands for super slow lol. Have you had it out on the water and if so what is your top end speed? As what size propeller do you have on it? I bought my as a project and just got done restoring the floor, transom, and stringers. I still have to redo the seats and some other things. But It's been fun on the lake so far.

I have an 81' thundercraft SS that looks the same but mine is a different color. Mine was originally brown/black/ and white, but I painted it red and white now. They are not bad boats for the price though. Yours looks like its in pretty good shape for being 30 years old.
