Dont know what everyone's preferred vehicle for towing is but I just traded my 2003 F150 4x4 supercrew with a 5.4 for a 2014 F150 FX4 with the 3.5 ecoboost. Was nervous about the eco boost but this thing tows a ton better than my older truck did. Wondering what everyone else liked to tow with out there.

I have a 2008 Saturn Outlook FWD (Acadia/Traverse style) it has a capacity of 4500 (with towing package) and it serves my purpose just fine. The gas mileage in towing mode really takes a hit (around 11mpg...) lol

2011 Land Rover LR4. Tows my 2007 Tahoe Q6 Fish and Ski wonderfully. I too only get about 11mpg when towing - but I don't that great of mileage when I'm not towing anyway. The best part of using the LR4 to tow is when backing up to hook up my trailer, the rearview camera has a tow mode that tracks the path of the ball. As I get near to the trailer, the camera zooms in so I can easily see how close I need to back up to get the ball right under the tongue. Works perfect every time - no need to have another person to hook up the boat.

I'm rocking my 2008 Toyota Tundra Crewmax. Plenty of truck for my little Q5i, but boy can the three of us fill it up when we go on vacation. I'll second how awesome it is to have a backup camera. Makes mounting a one man operation!

First trip to VA!
