Fresh water not working

I just bought a 2005 Q8i and the fresh water supply isn't working. There is water in the tank and when I flip the switch to turn the pump on, you can hear a humming. I unscrewed the spray nozzle and air is coming from the hose, but no water.

Any suggestions?

I had the same problem. couple of things to look at, are all the fittings tight? next, how is your battery voltage? for some reason my worked fine with the engine running but didnt work so well without - so if you are at low volts, with everything else on when you key on, there isnt enough juice to get it going........

Good to see another Q8i owner.. I just purchased my Q8i this off season too.. I have not had the chance to empty out the antifreeze, but when I turn on my pump it starts leaking where the faucet meets the hose. I have to replace the little washer that rest between them.

Maybe the pump is clogged, or a hose is kinked?
