i want to mount a VHF antenna on my 2010 Q7SF. I would like jto see or hear where others have mounted thiers. The easiest i coult think of is on the hatch that covers the motor in the back. however i wold like tomount it on the gunnel on the drivers side.

I mounted my antenna to a grab handle with suction cups on it that way I can lock it on the outside of the windshield and didn't have to drill into the hull.Wife assured me not to drill in hull!! Granted it's not the best in reception but it works a lot better than my hand held. Now I only go on fresh water lakes so it works just fine, even my hand held worked on Lake St.Clair.

good, idea. how tall is your antenna and does the suction cup work well in heavy chop?
