1985 Sun dance by Sun Runner

I purchased a 1985 Sun Runner. Has a 120 Mercruiser. Not sure which outdrive. One side of the motor lowers and the other does not. Wires are dry rotted. How can I replace them? Looks like I remove a few phillips head screws. Could it really be that simple? Will post pics this weekend. Needs washed and waxed and upholstery cleaned. 18 ft cabin cruiser. Not sure if any other info is needed.

Going to attempt rewiring the tilt and trim after work today. Appears to be 4 wires. The wires from the control switch look newer than than wires at the outdrive.

Looks like I cannot rewire the trim switch. It is a Mercruiser outdrive. Appears I need to replace the boot as well. Anything else I should replace while I am in there?
