Stratos 486SF Livewell question

Just bought a 2007 Stratos 486SF and can't figure out how to drain the live well.... Ugh, I know rookie!!!! It has a manual switch on the side of the boat back near the livewells that has Auto, Empty and Recirculate. When I switch it to empty nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?

There's probably multiple switches for multiple livewells and baitwells, are you using the right one?

Those FlowRite switches are notorious for going bad. Given the age of your boat I'm guessing yours is toast. Your issue is odd because usually what goes is the gasket inside which means it never FILLS. Given yours won't drain I'd say the previous owner has a plug in it. Or possibly the cable broke that opens and closes that valve is broken.

Since you said rookie I'm assuming you just bought the boat, I'd call the previous owner and ask.
