Well its not a Starcraft but its a tinny! Looking to replace my 13' whaler with something a little bigger, had been looking at Starcrafts since the whaler prices are nuts in the PNW. Ran across this beauty and it came home. Its a 2000 Harbercraft 19', with an 04 merc 115 2 stroke.

Has the dents to show shes been well loved, but runs great and has an awesome open floor plan.

You guys must have super-duper magnetic hitch balls. These things just jump on the ball as you drive by. :D

Nice looking tinny. The low transom is different, but since it works, what the heck. She cuts a nice wake on the water. Welcome to the TinHerd, Java.

Yeah it is, it had a splash well there, the PO welded a piece of diamond plate over it to make a step back there. Actually is very useful that way! Almost like the brackets offshore guys use. Magnetic hitch only happened after SWMBO's approval :)

Yeah those HC's are some highly sought after PNW tin too. Looks great from here on the eastside of the State :thumb:

Thanks! It was an Idaho find. But worth the drive.

I don't know what someone hit , but they hit it hard on the port front, but its bent in a couple inches, above the running like in the hull luckily.

Thanks! Its going to be a family cruiser though, I dont fish much....

Two trips to the DMV and still not registered.... Arrg. I did pick up some cup holders and flares today, some folding seats are in the mail, as is a cooler tie down kit. Gotta make a cushion for it now. Need to find some vinyl. Looked at a leaning post today.... Way too much $$ but working next to Fisheries Supply is bad...

Well its registered, sort of... 3 year boned title on the trailer. Best I could do. Its in my name anyway.

Boring update, it was cold this weekend, so i got some little projects done. And the boat made it into the garage. Everything else got kicked out, and the door closes by 1/4", literally.

Cut a piece of HDPE to mount my fish finder/gps to. No new holes that way.

Thanks Watermann!

Poor mans hydro turf. Yoga Mat! Non slip when wet, won't soak up water, seems sturdy and cheap!

Also wanted a cup holder in the console, its more or less dry storage, all the cup holders had holes in the bottom of them.
So, a vacuum line fitting I had laying around, some JB Weld and a piece of tubing. I can now cut my cup holder into the top of the console and it will drain to the bilge.

Got some more done tonight. Thanks to my crafty neighbor with her vinyl cutter, she has her name displayed proudly!

And added a transom ladder. Need some input here... Its drilled and tapped into the aluminum deck here, it appears to be 3/16" thick. On the bottom rung of the ladder you can see the diamond plate flex. Will this crack over time? I cant get my arm in there to add any backing (not sure backing will do anything anyway) Will this cause long term issues??

But it seems like a really nice ladder, 3 steps is nice too,

And I couldn't contain my curiosity. Pulled the front deck. Seems to be in good shape, looks like Home Depot spray foam, but in ok shape. Plywood is ok, definitely been wet but ok. But man this thing looks build solid! Stringers are beefy!

You just can't help yourself, always out in the driveway fondling Stella in front of the neighbors. :heh:

That diamond plate flex is fine, it's not like someone is on it every day all day long. I would be more worried about how the ladder is attached, what are those screws going into?

Its 3/16" aluminum, I drilled and tapped for a 1/4-20 bolt. I cant get under there to put a nut on... I jumped on it....

And no shes in the garage now... barely! No need for anyone to see :)
