Acid Wash?

What acid wash is being referred to in some of the blogs? I have used acid coil cleaner/brightener in the Air conditioning industry and that is fantastic stuff but I do not currently have any. Is that what you guys are referring to or what?
and is vinegar the final process before finishing?

I think it was dozerII (???) that used some form of aluminum cleaner that worked well. And I've seen mention of milking machine cleaner as well. Fuzzy.

I asked a similiar question awhile ago and vinegar was said that it like an acid based pre wash down technique. I wanted to stay away from the actual acid type stuff. Use the cleaning vinegar if you go that route. Ill be wiping the hull down with it prior to painting.

ok, got it, same active ingredients as Coil Cleaner. Phosphric acid.
