2212 starcraft boat sink faucet not working. Helpppp

The faucet in my new to me 2212 does not seem to be working. Is there a special way to prime it?
I filled the jug and put the tubing in and pumped a got no water to come out. I even put my finger over the opening as I pumped.

I had trouble on a Reinell so I just installed a electric pump for it.

what kind of electric pump did you use?

Its been a long time ago but I used a pump motor I had from a Motor home.
. A 12 volt aiteator(sp) will do the trick but you would have to figure out the plumbing. Or a live bait well pump.

find one on ebay designed for a VW Westy or similar. they also used to carry em at Jean-Claude Whitneyoni, purveyor of finer automotive products . slow flow rate works well to conserve limited water storage. in our cabin, we hooked it up to spray head from a K sink for more efficient water use. i think we paid <$25.

the big RV pumps from Flojet etc are designed to maintain a certain pressure in the lines so your faucets work like home ones, and are prolly overkill...you don't need 3-4 GPM flow
