Starcraft 14 ft Runabout ...just not quite into that "freeish" range.

Since you didn't answer my OB question & you posted a rig w/out a motor, I'll have to guess you'll probably be on the hunt for a donor for the motor, correct?

That looks more like a 15ft Jet to me then a short 14ft Falcon, Nova (came in 14ft, right?) or Holiday. Might be 14' 6" or 14' 9" so they incorrectly listed/registered it as a 14ft'r.

The bow/winch post are fairly far forward:

By more then just a few inches.

The reason I ask about a trailer & possible donor boat for the OB:

Buy JUST the boat.

If you're going to do a bow-ectomy & update it to your liking, you could let the seller keep the windshield, running lights (it's not the Jetson vintage light anyway) and the seats & posts. The posts are different & the helm post is a generic >$25 post, and lastly there are only 2 seats so you'll need/want more anyway.

Certainly might be worth the effort to make them an offer, all they can do is say no.

The CL ad is dead......

I probably wouldn't try to help a buddy sell a boat by linking the thread that has HIM saying it'd be cheaper to buy a different boat then fix the one he already has (and presumably was the boat in the CL ad) :facepalm:

Hey JB, sorry I totally missed your post about motor/trailer....

Yah, I do have only one empty trailer left here. That one is a tandem axle left behind by the Sea Ray. I'm planning to convert it to a utility trailer, or, maybe just sell it in the spring for some cashola.

For motors I just have the Evinrude 15 LS that'll serve as kicker for the Islander and 261.

Really, anything in the sub $500 range is close enough to free for me. All the better if they have old motors on em. A fella can usually sell those off pretty quick for a couple hundred bux ya know.

he'd probably take $200 (maybe less) with trailer. Hes right next to Tims Ford lake, south central TN. Let me know if interested and i'll get you his contact info. He's got the floor out and though i've not looked real closely hull seems good. It was holding water (inside) when he got it

What part of south central Tennessee, I am all the way in Sevierville, so it may be about a 6 hour drive.
