This badly advertised boat is an Islander in Ottawa, ON. The seller had a youtube video up a while ago that showed its condition. He was asking $1500 for the boat motor and trailer - my guess is you could get it for much less than that .

they didn't make V5's in 1974... I am pretty sure they came out in 1978 ot later...plus it doesn't have the 2 EXTRA strakes. the boat in the picture has two strakes and a keel...the V5 has four strakes and a keel.

plus V5 hulls are considerably WIDER that the same length non v 5 boats

I agree. I'd give up my search for a 25' Chief for this.....but not at that price. It's pretty bare bones as is.
