Unfortunately no. The '06 Merc is a HUGE selling point but I don't think it more than doubles the price of the rig which is really where you're at price-wise. If that was like an '85 Merc, it would be a $1500 rig. I sold my restored Jupiter with a '73 Johnson 85 for $2100 and I really only had the one interested buyer. I actually only expected to get about $1500 out of it.

Sorry to have to delete your link but we really do tread a fine line with this thread. It shouldn't be rocket science for someone to find your listing though

So I spotted this driving home today, pulled a U turn to go check it out. I was thinking of HA when I made the turn. As I walked up I noticed it was a 135 hp, I think that would move his little SS pretty well.

He was asking $1600 for the boat/motor/trailer. Yes it's hooked to a glasser.

Yah, I noticed that right off when I rounded the corner. That has to be the biggest V4 they made, am I right on that?

Shoot, that OB would push my Islander nicely.

Well I know it is not an Islander, the first year for them was 1967 which is what year mine is. As for a Chieftan, I have not a single clue. Would be a cool boat though and looks like a nice motor as well.

Heartfelt thanks to CBGALE for posting the boat listed in Kalamazoo MI. I drove from Ohio and picked up the 16ft SS, 50hp Merc., and 2001 trailmaster trailer for $550. I actually gave the guy $600 because I got there so early I woke him and his family up. Thanks again, I would never have spotted it if not for your post. The restore thread starts this weekend.
