I'm getting ready to winterize my '78 16' Starcraft SS and outboard ('95 60 HP Johnson) for the first time and I think I have everything I need to do it properly but I have a question about residual water left in the motor. I live in a cold climate and my boat will be stored in an unheated garage for the winter. Do I have to worry about any residual water left in the motor somewhere freezing and causing damage?

you have an outboard

run it out of fuel, fog if you want to, change gear lube, store vertically = winterized

outboards are self draining.
