Just a thought. Will alll the aluminum and angle iron get hot from the effects of engine and solar heat? I wonder if some insulation of some sort would be helpful to reduce heating and have the benefit of noise reduction as well. Plus it could keep your beer cold in those ss cup holders. Looks really nice!

The sides and top will have upholstery matching the boat interior (gray) on the sides and top. The upholstery will be held on with 5 snaps on each side. The only exposed part of the dog house aluminum will be the front and where the speakers are. I don't think I will need any insulation on the inside, but if necessary there is an aluminum foil covered insulation they use in cars for heat and sound. I just can't remember what it is called even though I've used it before.

The cup holders, if they fit, will be coated with armaflex pipe insulation on the inside of the dog house.

I can't wait to get the boat back so I can start doing my part.
