Seating Question

I would like to change one of the seats in my SS. My wife likes the lounge seat but I find it uncomfortable and would like something different. I spent some time looking at pictures but didn't really see anything "different". Wondering what others have done in regards to changing seats. I'd like to keep the base and maybe build a top to put a seat on. Looking for suggestions. Thanks.

I like the setup a lot of the newer boats have where there's a lounger on the passenger side and a bucket for the driver

Although at least 1 resto featured an actual bucket as a helm seat (or was Jas on a cooler?), Ez is referring to a bucket seat, many of which could be mounted to a swivel/slide base directly onto a lower storage box.... Many have.

I am building a storage box for my helm seat. Haven't made it yet. This picture isn't my boat just one I found online looking for ideas

Ditch those head knocker back to back seats. Do a google image search for runabout boat interiors to get some ideas that suit your taste.
